Bust of Claudia Antonia - daughter of Claudius
Marble bust of Claudia Antonia – daughter of emperor Claudius . The property is located in Domus Romana (Roman villa) in the city of Mdina, in Malta. Dated to the 1st century CE.
Such sculptures of the imperial dynasty were found in various parts of the Roman Empire in the area of public buildings. The preserved sculpture of Claudia Antonia is a rare example when the object was found on a private estate.
