1,800-year-old sarcophagus from Turkey has been placed in museum

A sarcophagus dating back to late Roman times, weighing almost seven tons, was discovered by the Turkish farmer Hatice Sürena in an olive grove near the city of Bursa.
The find is over 1800 years old and, as scientists indicate, numerous damage suggests that treasure hunters tried to “match” the discovery. The sarcophagus was safely transported to the museum.
