Actions to preserve remains of Roman villa in Gloucestershire

A campaign has recently been launched to protect the remains of a Roman villa in Cam, County Gloucestershire (western England).

According to construction developer Bovis Homes, archaeologists working on his behalf have confirmed that Roman ruins do not qualify for preservation and protection.

However, the decision was opposed by local residents, who have so far collected over 2,000 signatures on a petition aimed at protecting the monument.
