Festival of summer opera in Baths of Caracalla
On June 11 – August 7, a very interesting event takes place in Rome – the festival of the summer opera in the ruins of Baths of Caracalla. The show, including ballet, opera and concert, will take place under the starts.
The event is organized by Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. There will be composer Ennio Morricone (June 15-23), Tokyo Ballet (June 26), dancer Roberto Bolle and Friends (9-11 July), Dire Straits with Mark Knopfler (July 20-21) and opera La Traviata (July 19 – August 8) or Romeo e Giulietta (July 30 – August 4).
