Lamp was found in Roman villa in England
In the south of England, in the village of Stoke Gifford, the remains of a Roman villa were found. Among ruins was also discovered bronze lamp, which is dated to the 1st century CE.
At the excavation site was also discovered a vessel for storing cremated corpses and place for the burial of dead – dated 2nd-3rd century CE.
