More Roman artifacts have been discovered in Poland | Photo: LWKZ
Mr. Maciej Podgórski has recently discovered unusual finds – objects dating back to Roman times. The discovery took place in the State Forests of the Tomaszów Forestry Inspectorate near Ulow (Lubelskie Voivodship in Poland).
The found artifacts were then transferred to the Provincial Office for the Protection of Monuments in Zamość. Among the finds are: a fibula, made of bronze; belt buckle, made of bronze; a Roman denarius from the reign of Antoninus Pius (mid-2nd century CE); and a fragment of a bronze ingot.
