Remains of Roman building discovered in northern England
During an excavation carried out at Bamburgh Castle in the north of England, the foundations of a Roman building were discovered. The building had a circular shape and has 20 meters in diameter.
The building was probably used at the end of the presence of the Romans in Britain (beginning of the 5th century CE). It is suspected that the building served as a warehouse or shelter for farm animals.
