Roman floor mosaic discovered in Syria
On the far outskirts of Damascus (Syria), in 2017, archaeologists came across a 4th-century CE Roman floor mosaic.
The mosaic covers an area of 50 square meters and was part of a wide hall in the past. Geometric shapes, symbols and plant decorations can be seen on it.
