Roman mosaic discovered in Cyprus was exposed to the public. It is unique in that it is preserved in very good condition and shows a chariot race.
The work of art is dated to the 4th century CE and shows the chariot race in four phases. On the mosaic, we can also see dolphin statues, which meant how many laps the coachmen had completed.
