Stunning animation of rich house in Pompeii
Last year, scientists were able to virtually reconstruct a villa in Pompeii , which was destroyed in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 CE.
To make this stunning animation used, among others 3D scanners or drones.
Domus belonged to a certain Caecilius Iucundus – one of Pompeii’s wealthy bankers. The house was located in a prestigious location, at the intersection of two main streets of the city.
