For over 10 years, the IMPERIUM ROMANUM portal exists and develops in order to have knowledge of the history of ancient Rome available to everyone. Access to the content is entirely free and I will never allow readers to be charged. I devote a lot of time and resources so that knowledge is shared and readers satisfied.
Unfortunately, however, the costs associated with running and developing the website are increasing: server, domain, programming work, optimisation and errors elimination. In addition, I undertook ambitious work – translating the website into English, so that knowledge would be available not only for Poles. Especially the latter goal is extremely expensive. The portal has over 3300 posts, which must be translated into English. What’s more, on average, each sub-page counts about 2, 000 words. After conversion, huge amounts come out, taking into consideration the rates of translators.
At the moment, the process of translating subsequent entries is being carried out and paid for. However, in order to keep the “rhythm” and continuity of translation I need support. If you want IMPERIUM ROMANUM to continue to develop you can help me either by translating subpages of the website into English or by making grants.
