About 40 Roman frescoes were renovated since last year. The objects laid secured in boxes for 30 years in Reggia di Quisisana. Scientists on the official Pompeii profile published the result of their work; one of the frescoes is pictured.
In Pompeii, further excavations began in an area of 3,200 m2 in the area of Insula 10 Regio IX. From what I understand, the archaeological work is primarily aimed at securing the excavated walls and monuments that border directly on the still-buried section of the city. The pressure of the earth, pyroclastic material or flowing water has a bad effect on the excavated ruins.
