The object is located in a glass box in the atrium of the so-called The Villa of the Mysteries in <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-geography\/roman-cities\/pompeii\/\">Pompeii<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The plaster cast was made thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-religion\/gods-of-ancient-rome\/list-of-roman-gods\/genius\/\">genius<\/a> method of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/article\/giuseppe-fiorelli\/\">Giuseppe Fiorelli<\/a>. Giuseppe Fiorelli, in the 19th century, as head of the excavations in Pompeii, developed a method of making plaster casts of bodies. Through a small hole, he poured stucco plaster, which filled the entire empty space.
