Two young (21 and 25 years old) American women carved with a coin letters on the ancient wall. Then they made a &#8220;selfie&#8221; on her background. Other visitors noticed this, and the protection called for the carabinieri. This is another act of vandalism on Roman monuments. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The press reminds that in November 2014, a Russian tourist carved a huge initial on the restored passage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-art-and-culture\/roman-architecture\/roman-buildings\/colosseum\/\">Colosseum<\/a>. He was sentenced immediately to 4 months of suspended detention and 20, 000 euros fine.<\/p>\n<p>Also recently, a 15-year-old Canadian student during a school trip broke off a piece of the Flavian <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-art-and-culture\/roman-architecture\/roman-buildings\/amphitheater\/\">Amphitheater<\/a> wall and tried to hide it in his backpack.
