At the time, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-society\/roman-funeral\/\">funeral<\/a> of senator Decimius Junius Brutus Pera, which took place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/kultura\/architektura-rzymska\/budowle-rzymskie\/forum-boarium\/\">Forum Boarium<\/a>, six warriors (three clashes) fought to commemorate the deceased.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Among the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-society\/entertainment-in-ancient-rome\/gladiator-fights\/\">gladiators<\/a> were also two sons of an aristocrat &#8211; Marcus and Decimius. The first performance of gladiators is mentioned by <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/biographies\/titus-livius\/\">Titus Livy<\/a> and Valerius Maximus.
