{"id":72865,"date":"2020-08-23T21:23:05","date_gmt":"2020-08-23T19:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/?post_type=ciekawostki&#038;p=72865"},"modified":"2020-08-27T11:25:13","modified_gmt":"2020-08-27T09:25:13","slug":"roman-camp-at-loudoun-hill","status":"publish","type":"ciekawostki","link":"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/curiosities\/roman-camp-at-loudoun-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Roman camp at Loudoun Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There was once a Roman <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-army\/roman-camp\/\">camp<\/a> at Loudon Hill (southern <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/discoveries\/roman-artifacts-at-fort-annex-scotland\/\">Scotland<\/a>), the remains of which, however, were largely destroyed by gravel excavation in 1955. The discovery was made in 1938 by J.K.
