The entire monument was intended to show the emperor as <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-religion\/gods-of-ancient-rome\/list-of-roman-gods\/jupiter\/\">Jupiter<\/a> &#8211; god of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-religion\/gods-of-ancient-rome\/\">gods<\/a>. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Entire object was found in Lanuvium (near <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-geography\/roman-cities\/rome-eternal-city\/\">Rome<\/a> to the south-east). The emperor was shown with a crown of oak leaves (the oak was the sacred tree of Jupiter) on his head, a scepter in his left hand and an eagle at his feet &#8211; the sacred bird of the Romans.
