The objects are dated to the 3rd century CE and are located in the archaeological museum next to Roma Termini main station. Originally, mosaics adorned the cubiculum floor of Villa dei Severi.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Next to <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-society\/entertainment-in-ancient-rome\/gladiator-fights\/\">gladiator fights<\/a>, the Romans also loved <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-society\/entertainment-in-ancient-rome\/chariot-racing\/\">chariot racing<\/a>. In the time of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/biographies\/domitian\/\">Domitian<\/a> two additional teams were introduced: Purple and Gold; shortly after his death in 96 CE have disappeared.<\/p>\n<p>But where exactly did these colours represent the teams?
