The object was able to accommodate up to 8,000 viewers, which was a large number for a city with a <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-society\/population-of-roman-empire\/\">population<\/a> of nearly 30,000.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The object was located in the very center of today&#8217;s Toulouse &#8211; between La Daurade and Place du Pont Neuf. It was built during the reign of Octavian Augustusus in 27 BCE &#8211; 14 CE.
