The object is dated to the 4th century BCE. In the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-religion\/\">Roman religion<\/a>, Mater Matuta was the goddess of ripening grain, morning and fertility.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Her feast &#8211; <em>Matralia<\/em> &#8211; took place on June 11 and spread throughout Italy. The main celebration took place at her temple in <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-geography\/roman-cities\/rome-eternal-city\/\">Rome<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-art-and-culture\/roman-architecture\/roman-buildings\/forum-boarium\/\">Forum Boarium<\/a>.
