Entitled &#8220;L\u2019art romain du Louvre. Un monde d\u2019images&#8221; (Roman Art from the Louvre. A World of Images), the exhibition promises to be a true visual and intellectual feast.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The curators have prepared an impressive selection of works, from everyday objects to monumental sculptures. The exhibition will feature glass ceramics, vases and bowls, marble statues and reliefs, mosaics, and small utilitarian objects. These artifacts are not presented solely as &#8220;beautiful works of art&#8221;\u2014their significance lies in the function they served in ancient <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-geography\/roman-cities\/rome-eternal-city\/\">Rome<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will not only showcase beautiful art\u2014it is a reflection on the role of painting in the lives of ancient Romans. It demonstrates how art was a tool of communication, power, and memory\u2014not merely decorative.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will run from April 10, 2026, to January 10, 2027. April to October: daily 10:00 AM\u20137:00 PM, last admission at 6:00 PM; November to March: daily except Tuesdays, 10:00 AM\u20136:00 PM.
