{"id":111156,"date":"2022-09-12T16:39:26","date_gmt":"2022-09-12T14:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/?post_type=odkrycia-rzymskie&#038;p=111156"},"modified":"2022-09-12T16:39:26","modified_gmt":"2022-09-12T14:39:26","slug":"erotic-frescoes-in-pompeii-were-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"odkrycia-rzymskie","link":"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/discoveries\/erotic-frescoes-in-pompeii-were-unveiled\/","title":{"rendered":"Erotic frescoes in Pompeii were unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since 2016, tourists can admire in <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/geografia\/miasta-rzymskie\/pompeje\/\">Pompeii<\/a> newly restored Roman frescoes in suburban <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-art-and-culture\/roman-architecture\/roman-baths\/\">baths<\/a>. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Baths are a large complex built during the rule of the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/ustroj\/cesarstwo-rzymskie\/dynastie-rzymskie\/dynastia-julijsko-klaudyjska\/\">Julio-Claudian dynasty<\/a>. It was located outside the city walls, near the <em>Porta Marina<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The building has numerous Roman frescoes depicting erotic scenes. They show the services offered by prostitutes upstairs.
