As it turned out, these are finds from the 3rd century CE.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Along with the coins, there was a tin container with a handle and a lid, which probably contained the coins. Together, the finders discovered 1,965 coins that date back to 253-274 CE.<\/p>\n<p>The lucky explorers are 18-year-old Kyle Neil and 45-year-old Darren Troon. They both belong to the metal detecting club &#8220;Kernow Search and Recovery&#8221;. The find is currently being surveyed and valued by the British Museum.
