As it turns out, this place has been known for a long time, but archaeologists deliberately hid information in order to not allow illegal seekers to disturb the work.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The first signal that an important excavation site was located here, was excavated three years ago by amateur treasure hunters silver Roman coins, about 2, <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/discoveries\/pagan-basilica-in-rome-regains-its-splendor-after-2000-years\/\">000 years<\/a> old. In total, 18 coins were found. The discovery was kept in secret until the funds for the excavations were obtained and the scientists could start further exploration of the site.<\/p>\n<p>As it turns out, all coins are dated to the times of Vespasian&#8217;s rule (69-79 CE). Then the Romans marched further north of Britain and founded the center. Researchers found i.e. graves in which there were children&#8217;s remains with <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/article\/jewelry-in-ancient-rome\/\">jewelry<\/a> (including a brooch).<\/p>\n<p>According to the researchers, hitherto managed to find such centers in Yorkshire, dated to the 3rd-4th century CE.
