The discovery happened by accident during construction works.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Scientists date the grave to 1 BCE or 1st century CE. On site, among others, was found sword in a beautifully decorated scabbard and spear. The sword was subjected to an X-ray examination, which proved that the beautiful copper-alloy decoration at the scabbard mouth was once perfectly visible. Thus, it can be concluded that a high-ranking warrior was buried in the grave.<\/p>\n<p>The grave also contained the remains of a wooden container &#8211; visible as a dark spot &#8211; probably used to leave the body of the deceased to the grave.
