It was a kind of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-religion\/gods-of-ancient-rome\/roman-personifications\/\">personification<\/a> of the oven that prevented the bread from baking.<\/p>\n<p>In her honour, the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-religion\/roman-feasts\/fornacalia\/\"><em>Fornacalia<\/em><\/a> day was celebrated among thirty <em>curiae<\/em>, the oldest divisions of the city, created by the mythological <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-art-and-culture\/roman-legends\/legend-of-romulus-and-remus\/\">Romulus<\/a> of the three original tribes of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/en\/roman-geography\/roman-cities\/rome-eternal-city\/\">Rome<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fornax was the Roman goddess of the bread oven (fornax) or patron of the bread baking process.
