After expiration, with the death of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/biografie\/neron\/\">Nero<\/a>, the <a title=\"Julian-Claudian Dynasty\" href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/ustroj\/cesarstwo-rzymskie\/dynastie-rzymskie\/dynastia-julijsko-klaudyjska\/\">Julio-Claudian Dynasty<\/a>, took part in the succession struggle and stayed in 69 CE elected emperor and recognized by the Senate. Julius Agricola was appointed governor of Britain.<\/p>\n<p>He distinguished himself as a reformer and reorganizer of Roman statehood, he strengthened the borders of the empire. He ordered the Stoics to be removed from Rome and began building the largest amphitheatre in history &#8211; <a title=\"Colosseum\" href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/kultura\/architektura-rzymska\/budowle-rzymskie\/koloseum\/\">Colosseum<\/a> (it was not finalized). During his reign, <b>the <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/artykul\/wybuch-wezuwiusza\/\">Vesuvius volcano<\/a><\/b> erupted and the city of <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/geografia\/miasta-rzymskie\/pompeje\/\">Pompeii was destroyed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During the reign of Titus built &#8220;arena of death&#8221;, the so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/imperiumromanum.pl\/kultura\/architektura-rzymska\/budowle-rzymskie\/koloseum\/\">Colosseum<\/a>. In addition, the reign of Titus was interspersed with tragic catastrophes: plagues, a fire in Rome and the aforementioned volcanic eruption.
