A bronze ornament depicting Leda with a swan. The object is dated to the 3rd-4th century CE and was found in Ostia.
Leda was the queen of Sparta who fell in love with Zeus/Jupiter, who took the form of a swan. From their relationship was born, among others Helen of Troy.
