Roman glass phalera military decoration

Roman phalera glass military ornament, dated to the 1st century CE. The object was found in Britain.

Phalera was a Roman military decoration made of gold, silver or bronze in the shape of a disk, attached to the armor on the chest. This is a reward for soldiers for their courage.
