Roman phalera
Phalera (pl. phalerae), a kind of medal or decoration that Roman soldiers wore tied with leather straps above the chest.
The object has an eagle in the center and a message to Jupiter (CON OPTIME MAXIME) to protect it. The artifact is located in Carlisle (England) at the Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery.
