Roman mosaic has been discovered in eastern Turkey

In eastern Turkey, a Roman mosaic dating back to the 4th century CE was discovered in 2017. The find was in Adiyaman province.

The accidental discoverers of the object are two farmer brothers who worked in their field in Gölbaş. The local authorities have been informed about the ancient remains.

The object was handed over to the Adiyaman Museum authorities, whose age was estimated by the staff at 1,600 years.
