We will not pay for entering Pantheon

The previous left-wing Italian government, last year, was considering the introduction of fees for entering the famous ancient Roman monument – the Pantheon. However, the new government coalition threw the project into the bin.

It was announced by the Minister of Culture Alberto Bonisoli. The previous plan assumed charging fees from visitors for entering monument in the amount of 2 euros. The money was to be used for cultural purposes and renovation of the monument.
