Antiquarium di Pompei

In Pompeii, the renovated Antiquarium (Antiquarium Parco Archeologico Pompei) was opened on January 25, a place where we will learn the history of the ancient city from the Samnite period to 79 CE.

Numerous antique artifacts, which were stored in warehouses, will appear on the permanent exhibition, which will tell the history of the city over the years. Visitors will be able to see, among others jewellery and frescoes from the House of the Golden Bracelet or Roman silver tableware.

Tourists can count on a modern audio narration or “virtual assistant” on site.
