Six Roman frescoes stolen from ancient villas between the 1970s and 2012 have been returned to Pompeii and Stabiae. The objects felt into the hands of private art collectors.
The finds include frescoes depicting Amor, a dancer and a woman’s head. The works of art will return to their original locations.
The recovery of the artifacts was possible thanks to the complicated action of the Italian special services.
