Spartacus from 1960

The famous film “Spartacus” from 1960. The scene shows the moment when a Roman legion prepares to attack the slaves.

The scene was filmed on a vast plain near Madrid. What is really amazing, in order to reflect the power of Roman troops, 8,000 Spanish soldiers were employed to keep formations in perfect order.
