Pantheon
The Pantheon is the only completely preserved building of Ancient Rome. It is one of the most important and impressive buildings in Rome.
The original temple was built during the rebuilding of the Field of Mars by Marcus Agrippa around 27 BCE, the current structure was completed in 125 CE on behalf of Emperor Hadrian. The building is considered to this day as a great architectural achievement, a dome with a larger diameter was built only in the last century.
