Rome shown in wonderful animation

Thanks to “Rome Reborn” and Khan Academy, we have the chance to admire the Eternal City at its peak – in 320 CE – on wonderfully prepared animation.

A year 320 CE was a time when Constantine I consolidated power in the Empire and restored peace. The choice of this date was largely influenced by the fact that at that time the city was experiencing its peak urban development and had the highest population.
