The Digital Augustan Rome project is a great source of knowledge and research material on Rome during the Emperor Augustus period. Digital Augustan Rome is a project that is to be a worthy successor to the published Mapping Augustan Rome map collection, which appeared in the Journal of Roman Archeology Series in 2002 year.

The project assumes further work and enriching the existing information. The digital maps are based on the published maps at a scale of 1:6000 and show mainly the center of the socio-political life of Rome.
