Since 2016, tourists can admire in Pompeii newly restored Roman frescoes in suburban baths.

The Baths are a large complex built during the rule of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. It was located outside the city walls, near the Porta Marina.

The building has numerous Roman frescoes depicting erotic scenes. They show the services offered by prostitutes upstairs. The frescoes were in the changing room and the so-called apodyterium which is the place where visitors undressed before using the thermal baths.
