Great Roman villa discovered in England
In Oxfordshire (southern England), the remains of a Roman villa were found: including boar tusks, numerous coins or a sarcophagus with the body of a woman.
The discovery was made by a treasure hunter-amateur Keith Westcott on the crop field. Archaeologists estimated that the building was 85 meters wide by 85 meters long and is dated at the end of the first century CE. As they say, the building is the second largest Roman building of this type in Britain.
