Roman road discovered in Corbridge

In 2017, scientists managed to discover the remains of a Roman road in England, connecting the Roman city with the fort.

For a long time, it was suspected that the former Roman city of Corbridge (England) with its cavalry garrison was connected to the well-situated camp of Epiacum (now Whitley Castle, near Alston).
