Unique Roman sculptures at auction in London

The American couple Douglas and Diene Cooper built a villa El Cerro in Jamaica in 1968. Modelling it on the Roman Villa Adriana in Italy – the place where Emperor Hadrian rested – they placed Roman statues around the pool, which they bought at an auction. Now, these items will be available for purchase at auction.

The sculptures are dated to the 2nd century CE and were purchased in London in the 1960s. Now the objects will be auctioned again – on June 12. The prices of the facilities range from 100,000 to 350,000 pounds. It is a real treat for collectors and people who want to beautify their luxurious homes.
