2,000-year-old statue of Mercury has been discovered

Treasure hunt enthusiast in 2015 found a 2,000-year-old figurine depicting the Roman god of commerce, Mercury, near Selby in Yorkshire, England. It is officially the thousandth archaeological find in Yorkshire this year.
