Horse’s head from a Roman statue showing an equite on horseback. The sculpture was made of gilded bronze. 

The discovery was made by German scientists. The horsemen foot, which is believed to have belonged to Octavian Augustus, was also found on the site. The artefacts date back to 4-3 BCE.
