Reconstruction of tent of Roman command
Reconstruction of the Roman command tent, made by Familia Poppaea Trajan’s columns .
According to many sources, centurions had larger tents than ordinary soldiers and certainly of a better standard. The tent was also certainly taller so that the officers could stand in the tent.
