Relief from temple of Venus the Mother
Relief from temple of Venus the Mother at Caesar’s Forum in Rome. The relief is in the collection of the National Archaeological Museum in Naples.
The object shows a scene of sacrificing bulls (so-called tauroctony) by Amors. The sculpture is dated to the 2nd century CE.
