Roman fresco showing carpenter working with hammer and chisel, possibly Icarus, the son of Daedalus.

A fragment of the painting “Daedalus and Pasiphaë” in triclinium in the House of the Vettii. The painting was made in the IV Pompeian style and dated to the 1st century BCE.
