A two-layer Roman cameo made of onyx, dated around the 2nd century CE. The object shows the mythological Medusa.

Onyx consists of two layers, white and blue-gray. On the stone you can see the carved head of the mythological Medusa with snakes sticking out of her hair. Object surrounded by a gold chain.
