Another amazing discovery was made in Pompeii – at a collapsed ancient wall, in the so-called In the House of Chaste Lovers, two human skeletons were found.
According to the researchers, these are the victims of the earthquake that accompanied the powerful eruption of Vesuvius in 79 CE. The room where the remains were found could have been used as a workshop or was undergoing renovation. Data from preliminary anthropological analyzes indicate that both people probably died as a result of multiple injuries caused by the collapse of part of the building.
