Exhibition of Antonio Canova’s works at Archaeological Museum in Naples

In the Archaeological Museum in Naples – MANN – is very popular the exhibition devoted to the works of Antonio Canova inspired by the ancient culture. Canova was called the new Fidias by the contemporaries.

The ‘Canova e l’antico’ exhibition attracted 60,000 viewers in the first two weeks and will remain open until 30th of June. You can see not only sculptures, but also sketches, plaster designs and drawings by the artist.
